Mentors are the key to our program. As a mentor, you commit to supporting, guiding, and being a friend to a young person returning to DC from incarceration. You become a consistent, trusted face for your mentee both inside and outside of incarceration, and strive to help your mentee develop and reach academic, career, and personal aspirations. We are looking for caring, committed, and patient mentors who are willing to commit three hours per week for at least one year to the mentoring relationship.
We are currently accepting mentor applications!
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please check out our full mentor description. We also invite you to download and mail in our mentor application. Please mail or fax your application to our office. Our contact information is below.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please email or call Whitney Louchheim at whitney@mentoringtoday.org or (202) 678-9003.
